Overview

Mendez Middle School, serving approximately 230 students in South Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½, aims to provide students with a wealth of opportunities on their path to success. Consuelo Herrera Mendez, the school's namesake, worked as a teacher for nearly 50 years and was a tireless advocate for Mexican-American rights. With a focus on both community service and Career and Technical Education, Mendez strives to live up to her legacy by providing students with the foundation they need to enter the global workforce and become contributing members of their community.


La Escuela Secundaria Méndez, que sirve a aproximadamente 230 estudiantes en el sur de Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½, tiene como objetivo proporcionar a los estudiantes una gran cantidad de oportunidades en su camino hacia el éxito. Consuelo Herrera Méndez, cuyo nombre lleva la escuela, trabajó como maestra durante casi 50 años y fue una incansable defensora de los derechos mexicoamericanos. Con un enfoque tanto en el servicio comunitario como en la educación profesional y técnica, Méndez se esfuerza por cumplir con su legado al proporcionar a los estudiantes la base que necesitan para ingresar a la fuerza laboral global y convertirse en miembros contribuyentes de su comunidad.
