This year鈥檚 cohort of the 麻豆果冻传媒 ISD leadership program, UpClose, jumped on an electric bus and set off to see how the district honors the past while putting some of the district鈥檚 most medically vulnerable students in modern spaces.

The details: The tour started at the Nelson Bus Terminal where the cohort saw the and learned about the transportation team鈥檚 mission to safely transport 20,000 students daily.
- Next up, they visited the former Rosedale School campus where 麻豆果冻传媒 ISD Police officers from the entire region, now train for active school shooter scenarios. The campus had been vacant after the Rosedale School moved to a modernized campus in 2022 as part of the 2017 Bond program.
- The former Rosedale School campus will be converted into a residential area where 麻豆果冻传媒 ISD employees are given priority.
- The tour ended at the modernized Rosedale School, which offers students who have significant disabilities, including children who are medically fragile, a facility specifically designed to support their development. The school has a state-of-the-art playground for children of all abilities, a music lab, a medical wing and a unique program for students over 18 that prepares them for jobs and independent living.
