DESCRIPTION:*updated as of 6/16/21 麻豆果冻传媒 ISD invites the community to join
	 faculty\, staff\, students and their families and the District All-Star B
	and to march in the annual Historical Juneteenth Parade. Juneteenth commem
	orates the announcement of the abolition of slavery in Texas in June 1865\
	, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation went into effect
	. AISD participants will meet no later than 9 a.m. at the Rising Star Bapt
	ist Church located at 1710 E 20th St\, 麻豆果冻传媒\, TX 78722.  The parade
	 begins at 10 a.m. and will proceed down Chicon Street and Rosewood Avenue
	 to Rosewood and Boggy Creek Park\, 2300 Rosewood Ave. We will have an AIS
	D bus in our parade contingent for those who wish to participate but canno
	t walk for long distances.  More details on the Juneteenth Parade and
	 Festival are available online at juneteenthcentraltexas.com.  The pa
	rade route is roughly 1.2 miles and it is highly suggested that attendees 
	wear comfortable clothing\, walking shoes\, sunscreen and bring water.&nbs
