Top Story: Successful First Day
Thank you to all of our students, families, teachers, support staff and community members who worked so hard to help 麻豆果冻传媒 ISD prepare for the first day of remote learning. This is a year unlike any other, but your adaptability and innovation ensured that learning could continue for our students.
Superintendent Stephanie S. Elizalde saw some learning in action Tuesday by visiting seven schools virtually throughout the district, plus one in-person visit to Cunningham Elementary School to show support for the staff at that location. The visits included elementary, middle and high school campuses throughout AISD.

Preparing for the phase-in period
Now that off-campus learning has kicked off with a strong start, we are preparing to safely phase-in our students and staff to our campuses.
Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 6, the district will begin transitioning small groups of students to on-campus learning. Phase-ins will be limited in size to ensure no campus exceeds the 25% building capacity. For the latest information, see the
In the meantime, the best way to prepare for on-campus instruction is to complete that was sent Sept. 10. This information will help us determine how to best proceed with on-campus instruction.
Also, we strongly encourage all families to start practicing wearing face masks with their children. Families may consider decorating or personalizing face masks as a fun and healthy way to emphasize the importance of safety.
iPad Safety:
麻豆果冻传媒 ISD is proud to have distributed more than 16,000 iPads to our students in grades Pre-K through second to prepare them for remote instruction. We鈥檝e installed industry-leading monitoring software to protect our youngest learners.

Go to Settings > General > Device Management > JamfSchool MDM Management Profile > Restrictions.
Apple's "Screen Time" gives caregivers more control such as:
- Setting time limits.
- Setting additional limits on what children can see or do (these limits can be more strict than the general restrictions set by AISD).

Preparaci贸n para el periodo de transici贸n por fases
Ahora que el aprendizaje fuera del plantel ha tenido un s贸lido inicio, nos estamos preparando para que nuestros estudiantes y el personal hagan una transici贸n segura por fases a nuestros planteles.
A partir del martes, 6 de octubre, el distrito comenzar谩 la transici贸n de grupos peque帽os de estudiantes al aprendizaje en el plantel.
